About Us

Moran Cricket Collectibles was started by Martine and Tony Moran in Newcastle in July 1989. We have operated continuously since then, although we have moved to Brisbane in 1991, Armidale in 1996, Forbes in 1998, Wellington in 1999 and Gunnedah in 2004. We are fortunate to have the assistance sometimes of our daughters Bridie and Tess.

We aim to produce 3 or 4 catalogues every year, each containing about 500 items.  Apart from new books, which may appear in two consecutive catalogues, we try to have minimal overlap between recent catalogues.

The categories which appear in most catalogues are Autobiographies and Biographies, Collected Biographies, Tours and Tests, History, Annuals and Miscellaneous Books. Other categories which frequently appear are Cigarette and Trade Cards, Postcards, Membership Badges, Player Badges, Tour Guides and Ceramics

Our stock covers from the mid-19th century to 2020.  The current and previous catalogues can be found on this site, but many items have sold, especially from the older catalogues.  We try to maintain special lists on this site also, but some of these are quite out of date; as we find time, we update them.
